Staircases was founded and begun in the garage of the family home in
1977. It found its origin by chance, a home was being extended and
required a staircase. The owner put to the carpenter "could you build
me a staircase?" and after a moment of thought the carpenter said "yes
sure ill do it". From that day on the company has grown into a major
staircase manufacturer in the north-west and has a strong reputation
among the trade.
Rimlar Staircases is still a family run business and now in its second
generation it even takes its name from the initials of the family
members. We strive to build fine staircases using quality materials
putting the use of 28 years of know how, ingenuity as well as
combining technology with craftsmanship to produce quality staircases
into new homes, extensions and town houses throughout most parts of
Melbourne.
In
designing our staircases practicality as well as an appealing nature
